When is the best time to visit Thailand?

The cool, dry season (November to February) is the most comfortable time for the north and for temples - clear skies, easier walking. The islands are best November to April for calm seas. The rainy season (June to October) is greener, quieter, and cheaper, with short afternoon downpours. We help match your dates to the routes that work best.

Do I need a visa?

Most travelers from the USA, EU, UK, Canada, and Australia can enter Thailand visa-free for short stays. After you book we send a checklist for passport, entry, and any extra documents based on your nationality.

What should I know about visiting temples?

Dress modestly - shoulders and knees covered - and remove your shoes before entering temple buildings. Our licensed guides brief you on the etiquette at each site, from Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai to the Grand Palace in Bangkok, so you're always respectful and comfortable.

Is Thailand safe for tourists?

What about food and water safety?

Drink bottled or filtered water (we tell you which hotels filter on-site). The food scene is world-class - from Chiang Mai's khao soi to Bangkok's street stalls. We flag any restaurant or street stall we would send our own family to.
